Editing Workfile Exceptions

The Workfile – Exceptions feature contains settings that allow you to define which exceptions you want to monitor on repair orders. In addition, you can specify critical exceptions that must be marked Reviewed before closing the repair order.

Exceptions defined in your profile and marked Active are used by the Close Repair Order feature when closing a repair order. Exceptions designated as Critical can only be marked as Reviewed if the Workfile - Override critical performance exceptions permission is enabled for your security role.

To edit workfile exceptions

  1. Click Configure Profiles from the menu bar.
  2. Select your repair facility profile, and then select Edit from the mini-toolbar.
  3. Click on the Workflow - Exceptions link under Repair Management.
  4. Select Edit from the toolbar. The Workfile- Exceptions screen opens.
  5. Select the Active option for each exception that you want to include in the Close Repair Order feature.
  6. Select the Critical Exception option, and then enter an amount in the Impact $ Threshold field.
  7. Click OK to close the screen.
  8. Select Save or Save and Close from the menu bar to save the changes to your profile.
