Sending a Market Valuation Report

The following sections below describe how to email for fax a Market Valuation Report.

To email a Market Valuation Report

When you are viewing a list of Market Valuation Reports (either in the [maximized] page or on a Search Results page), you can choose to send one or more via email. Market Valuation Reports must have a status of “Valued”, “Changed” or “Retrieved” in order to be emailed to a recipient.

  1. On the maximized Active Market Valuation Reports portlet or from a Search Results List, select the Valuation Report(s) you want to email using the checkboxes.
  2. Click on the Actions droplist.
  3. Select Email Valuation Report, and click the Go button. A new browser window displays.
  4. Select the recipients to receive the email -and/or- Type the recipient’s email address into the Additional Email Address text field, and click Add Email to List button to save the address.
  5. Repeat to add additional addresses.
  6. Click the Send button to complete the email.
  7. The Send Valuation Reports Confirmation page opens. This page contains links that allow you to open the selected Valuation Reports, to go to the Portal Home Page, or to perform a search.

The email message that is sent includes the Market Valuation Report as an attachment. The email displays the claim number and provides summary details concerning the claim.

Note: If you select Market Valuation Reports associated with different claim offices, you will see “Choose recipient(s)” boxes for each location.

To fax a Market Valuation Report

When you are viewing a list of Market Valuation Reports (either in the [maximized] page or on a Search Results page), you can choose to fax the Market Valuation Reports to specified fax numbers. The fax numbers are tied to the individual CCC® Valuation offices.

You can fax multiple Market Valuation Reports at one time. You can also choose to send to more than one fax number at one time. The limit is 3 fax numbers for each Valuation office.

Market Valuation Reports must have a status of “Valued”, “Changed” or “Retrieved” in order to be faxed to a recipient.

  1. On the maximized Active Market Valuation Reports portlet or from a Search Results List, select the Valuation Report(s) you want to fax using the checkboxes.
  2. Click on the Actions droplist arrow.
  3. Select Fax Valuation Report and click the Go button. A new browser window opens.
  4. Select the default fax number
    -and/or-
    Enter another fax number into the free text fields.
  5. Click the Send button.
  6. The Send Valuation Reports Confirmation page opens. This page contains links that allow you to open the selected Valuation Reports, to go to the Portal Home Page, or to perform a search.
