The Damage tab contains information about the condition of the vehicle. To complete the Damage tab, type or select information for each item:
- Select an Impact Area for the damage. Select values for the Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary damage areas of the vehicle.
- Select a vehicle operational status: Drivable or Not Drivable. Select Unknown if this information is not available.
- Enter the Prior Damage Text, explaining any damage that the vehicle had before the loss occurred.
- Enter the Impact Notes, including any special information about the damage to the vehicle.
- Select Yes for Total Loss if the vehicle is not repairable or projected repair costs exceed the vehicle value. Select No if the vehicle is repairable. Select Unknown if this information is not available.
- If Yes for Total Loss is selected, enter a five-digit or nine-digit Zip Code where the vehicle is Principally Garaged.
- Select a Vehicle Condition Code: Excellent, Good, Fair, or Poor, based on the amount of reported damage to the vehicle.
