Create/Modify an Assignment in Customized Assignment Entry

Use the Create/Modify link to create or to modify an assignment. You can modify any data for a saved or sent assignment except the Company and Claim Reference ID.

Your assignment will appear with the customized format created using the Customize Assignment Entry tool. To view all fields (not just the customized ones), click on the Full Entry link.

To create an assignment

To create an assignment, click Create/Modify link.

  1. On the Key Data page, enter a new Claim Reference ID, and click Check for Duplicate. If the claim reference ID has not already been assigned, the Enter Assignment page appears.
  2. Enter the data in the various fields. Asterisks indicate mandatory fields. Save your work often using the Save button at the bottom of the screen!
  3. Click the Send button to send the assignment to the specified Appraiser.  

You can navigate through the assignment using either the section links (e.g., Vehicle Info) or the scroll bar. Use the Back to Top link at each section to navigate back to the top of the page.

Use the Bottom of Page link to navigate to the bottom of the page, where you can easily save your work as you go.

To modify an assignment

  1. To modify an assignment, click Create/Modify link. On the Key Data page, enter the Claim Reference ID
  2. On the Assignment Search Results page, click the Claim Reference ID link to view the assignment information.
  3. Modify the data in the various fields as needed. Asterisks indicate mandatory fields
  4. Click the Send button to send the assignment to the Recipient specified on the Recipient tab.
