Appointment - Booking
Once you log into the CCC Portal and successfully search for an Appointment, you can then book (schedule) the date, time, and place.
To book an appointment
- Log into the CCC Portal.
- Search for the claim and open the claim folder.
- From the Scheduling section, click on the Schedule Appraisal link.
- The Book Appointment page opens. You will be entering information into this page.
- Select the Appraisal Type by clicking next to the appropriate type(s).
- Update the Appointment Type or Required Skills if different from the default selections.
- If this is a Supplement Appointment select the Supplement Appointment check box and the Supplement skill.
- The Vehicle Location fields will be prefilled to the Vehicle Owners address.
If this location is not correct (i.e., you are viewing the vehicle at the Vehicle Owner’s work address), these fields can edited. - Fill in Contact Information, for the person who will be with the vehicle at the time of the inspection.
If the Receive Texts? Box is checked, the mobile phone will receive an Appointment Confirmation message via text messaging. - The Notes field is used for any specific information for the appraiser. This text will transfer to the Mobile App and My Appointments screen.
- Fill out the Appointment Search Criteria section. The Appointment Starting On date is when the system should start looking for available appointments.
- The field And Next Days denotes the number of days following that the system will search for appointments.
- Appointment Duration will be prefilled based on the Appointment Type and Required Skills at the top of the page. This can be modified but should typically be left to the defaults.
- Select the Appointment Window Length from the droplist.
- Select the Search Appointment button to search for available appointment times.
- A list of possible appraisal sources will appear based on what was selected in the Appraisal Type section. Select the appropriate Appraisal source and available Date and Time that best fits. The sources include:
- Choose an Open Shop.
- Choose a Repair Facility.
- Choose a Staff Appraiser.
- Choose an Independent Appraiser.
- Choose a Drive In. (If you select this option, click the Show Availability + symbol to display available appointments).
- If there are no satisfactory options, you can use the Reassign button to select a different appraiser. The Reassign button is located at the bottom of the Choose a staff appraiser section.
- Once you have selected an appointment, you will see a confirmation screen. From here, you can Reschedule this appointment, Cancel Assignment, Create a New Appointment for a different claim, or My Appointments to view a list of your Appointments.
