The Messages portlet shows all messages that have been sent to the IA office for notification.
The Messages portlet will display up to ten messages. If there are more than ten messages, click the Maximize button to show all the messages
Columns in the Messages Portlet
There are seven columns in the Messages portlet. The columns are New, Select, Priority, Date, From, Claim Reference ID, and Message.
- Select – The checkbox to select which messages to delete from the Messages portlet. (All messages remain in the Notes tab of the claim folder.)
- Priority – Indicator to state if this is an urgent message. (The indicator is a red diamond.)
- Date – Date and time the message was sent.
- From – The name of the person who sent the message.
- Claim Reference ID – The Insurance Company identifier for the assignment or claim.
- Message – The Subject of the message and link to open and view the message.
