Claim Estimating Line Detail Glossary
This glossary has two groups: Attributes and Metrics. Each group contains categories, select any category to see the Attributes/ Metrics, and Definitions.

Note: Note: The claim line estimating Dashboard presents all the latest file lines information at claim level with some estimate related attribute selections, this dashboards offers visibility in all claim line data not just parts line so while using it for parts reporting make sure the right filters selection is there also make sure you have only unknown attachment lines selected in there .

Attribute | Definition |

Airbag Deployed | Identifies whether a file included replacement of a driver and/or passenger-side airbag. Values include: Air Bag Deployed, No Air Bag Deployed and Unknown Air Bag Source. |
Appraiser Mgmt Level (1- 7) | The management hierarchy levels (1 -7) of the Appraiser who completed the Latest file for the claim .This hierarchy comes from Clear. |
Appraiser MSO | This is the name of shop Parent Organization who created the file that was reviewed as defined in CCC Registration system |
Appraiser Name | The Appraiser is the actual staff appraiser, repair facility, or independent appraisal company that wrote the latest file for the claim. The list will display the concatenated appraiser name and appraiser Login ID. This information comes from CCC Registration system. |
Appraiser State | The geographical State location of the appraiser who wrote the latest file for the claim. This information comes from CCC Registration system. |
Appraiser Type | Identifies the ‘type’ of appraiser that generated the appraisal . Types include: (Staff Appraiser, DRP, Open Shop, Independent Appraiser). |
Attachment Desc | The component or tool that connects to a primary device, the report shows all lines so all attachments are in the data as well to look at parts data only make sure we have attachment desc filtered to be unknown. |
CAPA Certified | Parts which were certified by the "The Certified Automotive Parts Association (CAPA). |
Claim Number | The alpha-numeric value assigned as the claim number. |
Claim Office (Level 1-6) | This is the Claim office Hierarchy ( 1- 6) from the claim office in the portal. Levels are defined in the CCC Registration system can be configured by the office location. |
Claim Type | Claim Type is an attribute that reflects the type of claim appraised. Values include: (Bus, Heavy Equipment, Heavy Truck, Recreational Vehicles and Campers, Trailer, Watercraft, Emergency, Motorcycle, Sport/Off Road, Unknown, Other, Structural, Vehicle) |
Claim Type Detail | Claim Type Detail is a attribute that gives more detail to the Claim Type. For Example Values for "Vehicle" Claim Type include: (Car, Pickup, Utility Vehicle, Other, Specialty Car, Van, Personal Property, Unknown). |
Current File Version | This is the file version for the latest file of the claim. |
Discount Markup | Indicates if a Markup or a Discount was given on a part. Values include: Discount, Markup, None |
Drivable | An indicator used to denote whether a vehicle is considered drivable or not. It has values as Drivable , Non-Drivable or Unknown. |
Estimate Appraiser Claim Office Level (1-6) | The Claim Office hierarchy levels (1 -6) of the Appraiser who wrote the Estimate( E01) file. Contacts in the CCC Registration system can be configured with a manager. |
Glass Part | indicates if a part contains glass. (Glass, Non Glass) |
Inspection Location State | The state of the vehicle inspection. State is derived from the zip code of the vehicle inspection location. |
Labor Category | Different types of labor tasks. (Body, Paint, Mechanical, Frame, etc.) |
Labor Operation | The labor operation associated with the line like repair , replace , sublet, section , R&I etc. |
Latest Est Appraiser Mgmt Level (1-7) | The management hierarchy levels (1 -7) of the Appraiser who completed the E01 for the claim .This hierarchy comes from Clear. |
Latest Estimate Appraiser Name | The Appraiser is the actual staff appraiser, repair facility, or independent appraisal company that wrote the E01 for the claim. The list will display the concatenated appraiser name and appraiser Login ID. This information comes from CCC Registration system. |
Latest Estimate Complete Date | The date when the Latest Estimate version of the claim was completed. |
Latest Estimate MOI Appraiser Type | Identifies the ‘type’ of appraiser that generated the Estimate ( E01) appraisal for claim. Types include: Staff Appraiser, Repair Facility, Independent Appraiser, Unknown |
Latest Estimate MOI Group | Specifies the group for the Method of inspection like Staff field , Staff desk , IA drive in , DRP etc. for the estimate (E01) of the claim. |
Latest Estimate MOI Inspection Location Type | Specifies the Method how a Motor Own Damage (MOI) inspection is conducted to do the Estimate, typically includes like Desk, Drive-in, field, home etc. |
Latest Estimate MOI Inspection Type | Indicates the type or nature of the Motor Own Damage (MOI) inspection performed to write the Estimate, such as Photo , Physical , Quick Estimate etc. |
Latest File Date | The date when the latest file of the claim was created. |
Line Description | The exact description of the line from the file data. |
Line Source | This tells whether a line is a Database line or a manually added line. |
Line Type | This tells the type of line it is A is a new added line , c is a changed line means it is a changed from what the original line was entered , E is existing line means these line are coming from older file versions as it is without any changes. |
Loss Category | Loss Category is the type of coverage for a particular claim. Valid loss categories include: Collision, Comprehensive, Liability, Other, Unknown |
MOI Inspection Location | Specifies the Method how a Motor Own Damage (MOI) inspection is conducted; typically has values like Desk, Drive-in, field, home, etc. |
MOI Inspection Type | Indicates the type or nature of the Motor Own Damage (MOI) inspection performed, such as Photo , Physical , Quick Estimate etc. |
MOI Standard Group | Standard grouping to Specifies the Method how a Motor Own Damage (MOI) inspection is conducted to do the latest file for the claim. typically has values like IA Desk , Staff Desk , RF Drive in etc. |
Odometer Range | Condition attribute defined by the vehicle odometer specified for the loss vehicle in the appraisal. Values include: (Unknown) (1-20k miles) (20-40k miles) (40-60k miles) (60-80k miles) (80-100k miles) (100-120k miles) (120-140k miles) (140k+ miles) |
OEM Part Number | The part number for an Original Equipment Manufacturer Parts. |
Original File Version | This is the file version for the line when it was originally added to the estimate for any added line it will be same as Current File version but for any changed (C line type)or existing ( E line type) this will provide the file version when the line was first added as part of appraisal. |
Part Component | The break up of a Part subgroup into smaller categories. This is the most granular level of Parts information in CCC One Analytics. |
Part Group | Different part groups. (Back Door, Body Shell, etc.) |
Part Name | The Part Name is the concatenation of "Part Group" and "Part Component". |
Part Subgroup | The break up of a Part Group into smaller categories. |
Part Type | Type of part used. (OEM, AM, Recycled, Opt OEM, Reconditioned, etc.) |
Price Included Flag | This is a flag which tell on the estimate if the amount for the line was included in any other line Amt , yes means it will included as part of other line amount so we will need to use this filter for parts reporting. |
Primary Point of Impact | Provides info about primary point of impact for the loss; whether it was front, rear, right, left, left front, all over, etc. |
Primary Point of Impact Category | A selection option when creating your own report that provides specific detail on claims/appraisals broken out by primary point of impact. It Includes values: Front Impact, Rear Impact, Other Collision, Burn, Unknown, Non Collision etc. |
Repair Facility | The name entered into the “Repair Site "field while writing the appraisal |
Repairable Condition | Repairable is a Condition attribute that identifies that the loss vehicle can be repaired. |
Severity Range Group | Series of dollar ranges used to group Loss vehicles based on their Total Loss Final Valuation Amt and repairable based on TCOR. |
TCOR to Regional Val Range | Total cost of repair as percent of regional value of the vehicle range has ranges like 0 to 30% , 30 to 50% etc. |
Vehicle Age | The length of time since Vehicle Model year to Time of loss, it is typically measured in years. |
Vehicle Age Group | A categorization of vehicles based on their age into specific groups or ranges. The current grouping has options like 1-3 years old , 4-6 years old , 7 years and older , Current year or Newer and unknown. |
Vehicle Body | Describes the general shape, design, and configuration of a vehicle's body, such as sedan, coupe, SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle), truck, convertible, hatchback, etc. |
Vehicle Fuel Type | Specifies the type of fuel used to power the vehicle's engine, such as gasoline, diesel, electric, hybrid (combination of gasoline and electric), natural gas, etc. |
Vehicle Make | The brand or manufacturer of a vehicle, representing the company that designed, produced, and marketed the vehicle. |
Vehicle Manufacturer | The company or entity responsible for manufacturing the vehicle. This term may sometimes be used interchangeably with "vehicle make" but can also refer to the broader organization overseeing the production process. |
Vehicle Model | The specific version or variant of a vehicle produced by a manufacturer. It typically includes details such as trim level, options, and features that distinguish it from other models within the same make. |
Vehicle Owner State | The state for the vehicle owner. The state is derived from the zip code of the vehicle owner. |
Vehicle Source | Indicates the origin source of the vehicle, such as Asian , Domestic , European etc. |
Vehicle Type | Classifies the vehicle into a specific category or type based on its intended use, design, and characteristics, such as passenger car, commercial vehicle, truck, motorcycle, etc. |
Vehicle Year | The model year or production year of the vehicle, representing the calendar year in which it was manufactured. It is often used to determine the age and specifications of the vehicle. |
Total Loss Flag | An indicator used to identify whether a vehicle has been deemed a total loss as a result of damage, typically due to an accident, theft, or other covered event. A total loss occurs when the cost of repairs exceeds a certain threshold of the vehicle's value, as determined by insurance companies or regulatory guidelines. |

AM Comparable Replace Part Amt | List price of an Original Equipment Manufacturer part if it was used instead of an After Market part as a replacement part. |
AM Replace Part Amt | Amount of an After Market part that was used as a replacement part. |
AM Replace Part Cnt | Number of replaced parts which have After Market parts was used as a replacement part. |
AM Replace Variance % | Percentage of the difference in the amount if an Original Equipment Manufacturer part was used as a replacement part instead of an After Market part. |
AM Replace Variance Amt | Difference in the amount if an Original Equipment Manufacturer part was used as a replacement part instead of an After Market part. |

Avg Latest Estimate Tcor Amt | Avg Tcor of the E01 for the claim. |
Avg Price per AM Replace Part | Average price of each After Market part that was used as a replacement part. |
Avg Price per OEM Replace Part | Average price of each Original Equipment Manufacturer part that was used as a replacement part. |
Avg Price per Optional OEM Replace Part | Average price of each Optional OEM part used as a replacement part. |
Avg Price per Recycled Replace Part | Average price of each Recycled part used as a replacement part. |
Avg Price per RO Replace Part | Average amount of each Refurbished part used as a replacement part. |

Database Price Amt | The part price for a given part as per Motor Database. |

Latest Estimate TCOR Amt | The total Cost of Repair for the estimate (E01) of the claim. |
Line Adjustment % | Percentage of the number of lines adjusted when compared to the total number of lines in the estimate. (A line is considered to be "adjusted" when a discount or markup is given for that line.) |

Line Discount Part Cnt | The number of lines in Latest file for the claim which have a discount. |

Motor Key Cnt | The count of distinct motor key excluding the default 0000|0000|0000|0000|NA one. |
Odom | The Odometer reading recorded on a vehicle's odometer at time of loss. |
OEM % of Replace Part Amt | Percentage of the amount spent on Original Equipment Manufacturer parts that were used as a replacement part when compared to the amount spent on all parts that were used as a replacement part. |
OEM % of Replace Part Cnt | Percentage of the number of claims where the Original Equipment Manufacturer part was used as a replacement part in comparison to the number of claims where all the parts were used as a replacement part. |
Optional OEM % of Replace Part Amt | Percentage of the amount spent on Optional Original Equipment Manufacturer parts that were used as replacement parts when compared to the amount spent on all parts that were used as a replacement part. |
Optional OEM % of Replace Part Cnt | Percentage of the number of claims where the Optional Original Equipment Manufacturer part was used as a replacement part when compared to the number of claims where all parts were used as a replacement part. |

Part Betterment % | Average of Total dollars for betterment as a percent of the total cost of repairs per betterment part. |
Part Cnt | Number of parts repaired or replaced. |
Part Cost Adjustment Amt | Price of the part whose amount was adjusted in the estimating tool. |
Part Qty | Number of parts that were replaced. |
Preadjusted Labor Amt | Cost of labor in the appraisal before taxes. |
Preadjusted Paint Labor Amt | Cost of labor in painting parts in the appraisal before taxes. |
Preadjusted Part Amt | Amount of parts in the appraisal before taxes. |
Recycled % of Replace Part Amt | Percentage of the amount spent on Recycled parts used as a replacement part when compared to the amount spent on all parts used as a replacement part. |
Recycled % of Replace Part Cnt | Percentage of the number of Recycled parts used as a replacement part when compared to the overall number of parts that were used as a replacement part. |
Recycled Comparable Replace Part Amt | List price of an Original Equipment Manufacturer part if it was used instead of an Recycled part as a replacement part. |
Recycled Replace Part Amt | Amount spent on all the Recycled parts that were used as a replacement part. |
Recycled Replace Part Cnt | Number of Recycled parts that were used as a replacement part. |
Repair % Part Cnt | Percentage of the number of parts that were repaired in comparison to the total number of parts. |
Repair Labor Amt | Cost of labor when parts were repaired. |
Repair Labor Cost vs Replace Cost | Percentage of the cost of labor in repairing parts in comparison to the overall cost of labor. |
Repair Part Amt | Amount spent on parts used in repair. |
Repair Part Cnt | Number of parts that were Repaired. Parts will be counted as Repair if their corresponding Line Operation is equal to Repair, Align, or PDR on line-level reporting. |
Repair Part Cnt % of Total of Repaired and Replaced Parts | Percentage of the number of parts repaired in comparison to the total number of parts used. |
Replace % of Part Cnt | Percentage of the number of parts that were used as a replacement part in comparison to the total number of parts used. |
Replace Labor Amt | Cost of labor in replacing parts. |
Replace Part Amt | Amount spent on parts which were used as replacement parts. |
Replace Part Cnt | Number of parts that were used as replacement parts. Parts will be counted Replace if their corresponding Line Operation is equal to Replace, Section, or Overhaul. Parts will also be counted as Replace if their Line Operation is equal to Blank Operation or None (only counted if the line's Labor Category DOES NOT equal No Charge). |
RO % of Replace Part Amt | Percentage of the amount spent on refurbished parts used as a replacement part when compared to the overall amount spent on all parts that were used as a replacement part. |
RO % of Replace Part Cnt | Percentage of the number of refurbished parts used as a replacement part when compared to the overall number of parts that were used as a replacement part. |
RO Comparable Replace Part Amt | List price of an Original Equipment Manufacturer part if it was used instead of a refurbished part as a replacement part. |
RO Replace Part Amt | Cost of refurbished parts that were used as replacement parts. |
RO Replace Part Cnt | Number of refurbished parts that were used as replacement parts. |

Total Repair Cost | Cost per claim, including all estimate and supplement dollars. |
